General
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Refund requests are not accepted via online chat or over the phone.
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Solo 401k Refund Policy
If you choose to cancel within the first 30-days of purchase and Nabers Group has not obtained your 401k Trust EIN or delivered your 401k plan documents, a full refund will be issued.
If you choose to cancel within the first 30-days of purchase and Nabers Group has delivered your 401k plan documents – a partial refund may be issued. Nabers Group may retain part of your initial fee for administrative hard costs associated with canceling your plan document service and alerting the IRS your plan is no longer active.
Once plan document service is cancelled, your 401k plan is marked as Inactive and access to Nabers Solo 401k proprietary plan documents is revoked. Continuing to hold funds in an inactive plan may trigger a taxable distribution.
If you cancel your 401k document service, any monthly or annual maintenance fees charged pre-cancellation are generally non-refundable. However, if you cancel your 401k plan maintenance before you are charged your monthly or annual fee, we are happy to discontinue billing. If you cancel your 401k plan and are erroneously charged after cancellation, a fully refund of the monthly or annual maintenance fee will be granted.
Specialized Plan Fees
If you required a non-standardized plan due to having a Controlled Group, Minor Business Owner, or Multi-Owner Business plan, the administrative fee is non-refundable once the 401k plan documents have been delivered, regardless if plan documents have been docusigned.
Special Purpose LLC
Refunds are not offered if Nabers Group has formed your LLC. If you are within the 30-day time period following purchase, and your LLC has not yet been formed, a full refund is possible.
Checkbook IRA LLC
Refunds are not offered if Nabers Group has formed your LLC or established your new (traditional or Roth) IRA. Once your IRA LLC is formed, terminating the account within the first year will result in a $250 account termination fee.
Reinstating an Inactive or Cancelled Plan
If your annual maintenance fee is 3 months (90 days) past due or more, a $500 reinstatement fee will apply in addition to your ongoing document maintenance fee, in order to reactivate your Solo 401k and bring it back into compliance.
If you previously cancelled your Solo 401k and would like to reinstate the plan, a $500 reinstatement fee will apply in addition to your ongoing document maintenance fee, in order to reactivate your Solo 401k and bring it back into compliance.
