Form 5500-EZ tells the IRS how much your Solo 401k plan value is worth. It is not a tax return. Form 5500-EZ is an informational filing only.
The form must be filed if you had $250,000 or more in total plan value on December 31st of last year.
If you had less than $250,000 in total plan value on December 31st last year, form 5500-EZ is not a required filing.
Form 5500-EZ is due by July 31st of each year.
NOTE: Our form preparation software will prepare a .pdf version of the 5500-EZ for you to file. However, you are still required to verify the information and plan holdings is truthful and accurate. You are also responsible for filing the form with the IRS by July 31st of this year.
